Website Maintenance — Fablarr Tech

What we do

Website Maintenance

Updates, backups, security, and a person when it breaks.

01 / Who it's for

The right fit.

Best for: teams running a live site or app without an in-house engineer to keep it secure, backed up, and current.

  • Teams without a dedicated engineering bench
  • Companies running customer-facing sites and portals in production
  • Organizations that need security updates and dependency hygiene
  • Operators with software tied to payments, CRM, or automation
  • Businesses managing multiple digital properties
  • Teams that want steady improvements, not only break-fix support

02 / The business problem

What this fixes.

Sites decay quietly. Plugins age, forms stop sending, speed drops, and search rankings follow. Maintenance is the retainer that keeps the site you paid for earning its place — with a person on the other end, not a ticket void.

03 / What's included

The work in the build.

These are the parts we plan, build, test, and hand over.

  • Onboarding audit and access inventory
  • Managed hosting and SSL within the care plan
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Automated backups with restore checks
  • Security updates and dependency updates
  • Monthly software updates
  • A small content-edits allowance
  • Performance checks
  • A priority support channel
  • A monthly report
  • A quarterly review
  • A defined escalation path

04 / At handover

What you receive.

Access and ownership are listed in the scope before work starts. The handover is not complete until accounts, credentials, and responsibilities are clear.

  • Care-plan schedule and included support hours
  • Monitoring and backup access
  • Update log and monthly report
  • Support channel and escalation path
  • Access inventory and ownership record
  • Renewal and recurring-cost schedule

05 / Timeline & process

From first call to launch.

Typical timeline

Onboarding in the first week, then ongoing monthly. Month-to-month or annual terms are agreed before work starts.

How projects work

  1. 01

    Discovery and scope

We agree the outcome, users, requirements, timeline, and investment before design starts.

  2. 02

    Plan and design

We map the sitemap or workflow, then agree the design direction, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.

  3. 03

    Build and review

Development runs in milestones. You review the agreed checkpoints, not a surprise at the end.

  4. 04

    Test and launch

We test devices, forms, payments, speed, security, and the handover steps before go-live.

  5. 05

    Grow and support

After launch, choose a care plan, search retainer, or improvement queue. None are bundled into the build fee.

What we need from you

The inputs that keep a project moving.

  • One decision-maker who can approve scope, design, and launch.
  • Final content, brand assets, and access by the agreed dates.
  • Consolidated feedback at each review checkpoint.
  • Access to existing systems, accounts, and third-party suppliers.

06 / Scope & extras

What is not included.

Clear scope now prevents a change-request conversation later.

Outside the base scope

  • New pages, features, integrations, redesigns, and major content production
  • Emergency work caused by unapproved third-party changes
  • Hosting or licence fees charged by third parties
  • Work outside the agreed support-hours allowance
  • Legal or compliance advice
  • Full rebuilds or platform migrations

Optional extras

  • Additional support hours
  • Content production
  • A performance sprint
  • A search retainer
  • An emergency response retainer

Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted and approved before work starts. Optional extras are never added silently.

07 / Ongoing support

Care after launch.

Hosting, SSL, backups, security updates, and ongoing support are not included in the build fee. They belong to a care plan, quoted after launch so the boundary is clear.

Essential Care

Best for: Brochure sites and low-change sites that need to stay online, backed up, and secure.

  • Managed hosting and SSL
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Automated backups
  • Security updates
  • Monthly software and dependency updates
  • Small content edits (monthly allowance agreed in the plan)
  • Support channel during agreed business hours

Response target

Next business day during agreed business hours.

Growth Care

Best for: Sites that need search monitoring, reporting, and a steady stream of small improvements.

Everything in Essential Care, plus:

  • Monthly performance checks
  • Technical SEO monitoring
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Conversion improvements
  • A larger support-hours allowance
  • Priority response

Response target

Same business day during agreed business hours.

Systems Care

Best for: Apps, portals, and e-commerce with live transactions, integrations, or business-critical data.

  • Database and infrastructure monitoring
  • Incident response process
  • Security review cadence
  • Backup and restore testing
  • Integration checks for payments, email, forms, and APIs
  • Monthly product improvement session
  • Defined support hours and emergency-contact rules

Response target

Priority triage during agreed business hours, with an emergency path for critical incidents.

Maintenance keeps the existing system secure, available, and working. New pages, features, integrations, redesigns, and major content production are quoted separately.

Next step

Is the site running without a safety net?

Tell us what you run, who depends on it, and what has broken before. We will recommend the right care tier and confirm the response target before billing.
