Cookie Policy
1. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser. Local storage is similar, but the data stays in the browser and is not sent with every request. We use both sparingly.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and ad-measurement cookies. We record your choice in local storage under cookie-consent and cookie-consent-date. You can change it at any time using the Cookie settings button in the footer. Opening Cookie settings clears the stored choice and pauses analytics until you choose again.
3. What the site uses
Essential and preference storage
We do not set essential cookies for public visitors. Your cookie choice is stored in local storage so the banner does not appear on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data or use Cookie settings.
Analytics and Meta Pixel
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to count visits and understand which pages are used. Google may process this data outside Ghana. You can read Google's privacy policy.
If you accept, Meta Pixel sets cookies such as _fbp and _fbc to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries. You can read Meta's privacy policy.
Advertising
Meta Pixel is used for ad measurement only if you accept. We do not use other advertising networks or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. How to control cookies
- Use the Cookie settings button in the footer to accept or decline analytics.
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking analytics does not stop the site working.
- You can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
5. Changes
If we add or remove a tool, we will update this page and the date at the top.
